Public transport
Subway trains, streetcars and buses are available.
The Campus of the University of Vienna can be reached by streetcars 5 (Lazarettgasse, Lange Gasse), 43 and 44 (Lange Gasse), 37, 38, 40, 41 and 42 (Schwarzspanierstraße), bus line 13A (Alser Straße/Skoda Gasse) and subway line U2 (Schottentor station).
You can buy tickets at the airport, at any subway station and in tobacconists or online.

Taxi
Austria’s largest taxi dispatch centre 40 100 now also has a fleet of 'green taxis'. It comprises around 150 cars, including 130 hybrid cars, 20 taxis powered by natural gas and some diesel Euro 6 vehicles.

Arrival with the bike
You can also come to the University of Vienna by bike. More than 100 bicycle parking spaces are available in front of the University of Vienna.
A bicycle repair stand is available on campus in courtyard 2 in front of the ÖH office (ÖH).
In addition, WienMobil Rad, the bike-sharing service of Wiener Linien with 3,000 bikes and over 200 stations throughout the city, is available to you.

Car sharing is an essential part of the smart mobility of our days.
The Viennese start-up ELOOP exclusively offers electric vehicles for shared use. This minimises environmental impact and maximises social benefits.
Sharetoo is an innovative e-car sharing concept from Porsche Bank. The aim is to combine sustainable mobility with state-of-the-art technology. With around 200 vehicles in around 30 cities and municipalities, sharetoo Carsharing is one of the largest e-car sharing providers in Austria. Porsche Bank AG" is the first car sharing provider with an eco-label.
